When
punching a shaped hole (oblong, square, hexagon, etc.) we recommend having
keyways and notches cut into your punches and dies. Once you get the shape on
the punch and die aligned, these will lock your punch and die into place. Using
the keyways and notches will extend your tooling life and make a safer work
environment. Let us know the make and model of your machine so the proper
