Pipe Notch Tooling
Are you a fabricator that is looking to cope or “fish mouth”
the ends of your tube or pipe? We have the perfect solution for you! Cleveland
Punch and Die stocks pipe notch housings, tooling and striker punches! We stock
1”, 1-1/4”, 1-1/2” and 2” schedule 40 pipe notch tooling for Piranha, Edwards,
& Spartan ironworkers. Stock sizes ship same day and special sizes can be
manufactured upon request.
Your ironworker can be ready to cope in a matter of minutes.
All that’s required is to replace the die block with the pipe notch housing and
replace the standard punch with the striker punch. If you don’t have an
ironworker, that’s not a problem! Since the pipe notch assembly is a
self-contained unit, any of these housings can be used on a hydraulic press as
long as there are bolts to hold the die portion and a ram to strike the top of
the tooling.
If you would like additional information regarding pipe
notch tooling, please contact one of our “Green Team” representatives for
assistance. We can be reached at 800-451-4342 or sales@clevelandpunch.com

Punching Angle
Center Punch & Die |
Offset Punch & Die |
Do you have a job that requires you to punch angle? We have
the solution for you. If you need to punch close to the inside leg of the
angle, we can provide offset punches and dies. The standard setup is to use a
centered punch with an offset die and move the die block to punch closer to
the inside leg. If you have a die block that does not move, we can offset the
punch for you. This is a custom application and you can contact us for price
and lead time.
We also offer offset punches and dies for oblong shapes.
Please refer to the page seen here to indicate position A or position B when
ordering. Other information that we need when ordering is, make and model of
machine, size of angle, how close to the leg you are punching and material
thickness.

Punch Easy
There are many ways that Cleveland Punch and Die has learned to extend the lifespan of the steel tooling for ironworkers since its beginning in 1880. Today's focus is on using the proper cutting lubricant. Punch Easy Punch Lubricant has been proven to extend tooling life while helping to make cleaner cuts. Not only can it be used for punching, but it can also be used to shearing, notching and even drilling.
